Les dejo un corto que muestra la realidad de muchos países latinoamericanos.
"LA ENTREVISTA"
La Entrevista”  es un film de Daniel Ortiz Díaz donde se muestra la entrevista de selección a una mujer parada y se refleja la cruda realidad del mercado de trabajo;  el abuso de quien tiene el poder de dar un empleo y la desesperación y desamparo de quien lo necesita.

"La entrevista" is a film by Daniel Ortiz Diaz that shows the job interview of an unemployed  woman  and the harsh reality of the labor market; the abuse of those who have the power to give a job and the despair and helplessness of those in need.

LA OVEJA PELADA
Este corto fue nominado al Oscar 2003.
En una pradera vivía una oveja, que orgullosa, por estar cubierta con lana de alta calidad, danzaba con alegres pasos.
Pero llega un día en que la oveja  pierde su lana, y con ello su orgullo, quedando en una situación patética, trasquilada en medio de la lluvia. Para la oveja, la vida era una danza, pero ahora sus vecinos de la pradera se burlan de ella sumiéndola en una profunda tristeza.
Le toca a un jackalope (un conejo mítico, con grandes cuernos) enseñar a la deprimida oveja que: con lana o no, lo interior es lo que nos ayuda a rebotar sobre los problemas de la vida. Esto devuelve la vitalidad a la oveja, y a partir de entonces, como el jackalope, renueva su danza con saltos, radiante y optimista, adonde vaya, y pase lo que pase.

This short film was nominated for the Oscar  in 2003 . A sheep used to live in a  meadow and she was  proud of being covered with high quality wool ,  she usually danced with joyful steps. But there comes a day when the sheep lost its wool , and thus their pride , she was left in a pathetic situation , in the middle of the rain . For this sheep , life was a dance, but now its  neighbors tease her throwing her into a deep sadness . It's up to a jackalope ( a mythical rabbit with big horns ) to teach the depressed sheep a lesson : wool or not, the inside is what helps us to recover from the problems of life. This brings vitality to the sheep , and thereafter , as the jackalope , renews her joyful dance, radiant and optimistic.

Hoy les dejo este hermoso cortometraje mexicano.
Emilio es un niño ciego que vive feliz con su percepción del mundo. Sin embargo, su madre abrumada por cuidarlo día a día, lo abandona azarosamente en una carpintería en la que trabaja un viejo huraño y solitario que no espera más de la vida. Dos mundos tan diferentes están destinados a descubrir, el uno en el otro, a su familia.  Espero que les guste.

Today I leave with you this beautiful Mexican short film.
Emilio is a blind boy who lives happily with his perception of the world. However, her mother overwhelmed by taking care of him every day, leaves  him randomly in  a workshop with an old carpenter who does not expect more from his life. Two different worlds are destined to discover, in each other, their family. Enjoy!

Hoy, por recomendación de unos estudiantes, les dejo con una serie de TV muy popular y entretenida producida por la TV española llamada Los misterios de Laura.

Hoy les dejo un programa muy gracioso que se llama ¿Qué hora es? Es una comedia acerca de estudiantes de español que solamente llevan tres semanas de estudio. Muy, muy gracioso. Espero que lo disfruten.

Ana y Manuel
Ana acaba de ser abandonada por su novio Manuel . Mientras vivía con él, ella nunca quiso una mascota, ya que pensaba que era cruel para el animal y no muy higiénico para ellos. Una vez incluso convenció a Manuel para deshacerse de una tortuga que le habían dado como un regalo de cumpleaños. Pero ahora ha decidido adquirir un cachorro , en parte como venganza porque él la ha abandonado y en parte para ayudarle a que se olvidara de él. Ella le puso " Man"  porque lo ve como un medio " Manuel ", pero piensa que el cachorro es "el doble de hombre que Manuel era". El tiempo pasa y el perro crece , pero  Ana no puede olvidar a su ex - novio, y ya no quiere al perro. Así que planea regalárselo a su hermano como regalo de Navidad.
La noche de Navidad, Ana deja el perro en el coche mientras cena con su familia, pero cuando vuelve a buscarlo, el coche se ha ido , y también el perro. Ella se siente muy triste y trata de encontrar a Man. Hasta que un día , Manuel aparece en su puerta con él. Manuel le cuenta a Ana la historia de cómo él compró el perro en el mercado que solían visitar cuando estaban juntos , y que sorprendemente el perro lo llevó hasta la casa de ella.También le dice que quiere que vuelvan a estar juntos.

Ana has just been dumped by her boyfriend Manuel. While living with him, she never wanted to own a pet because she thought it was cruel for the animal and not very hygienic for them. Once she even convinced him to get rid of a turtle that was given to him as a birthday present. But now she has decided to get a puppy, partly as a revenge to him for leaving her and partly to help her forget about him. She names him "Man" because he sees him as half "Manuel" but still twice the man he was. Time goes by and the dog grows up but she can't forget his ex-boyfriend, and she doesn't want the dog anymore. So she plans to give him away, as a Christmas present, to her brother. She leaves him in the car and has dinner with her family but when she comes back to get him, the car's gone and so is the dog. She feels very sad and tries to find Man. Until one day, Manuel shows up at her door with him. He tells Ana the story of how he bought the dog at the market they used to visit when they were together, and how surprised he was the dog lead him there. He also tells her he wants them to get back together.

Otro corto, muy corto...pero muy interesante...
" Rogelio no se percataba que estaba muerto..." con esta frase comienza esta conmovedora historia de uno de los mejores guionistas latinoamericanos, Guillermo Arriaga. Con un humor negro, fino y relajado Arriaga realiza este corto mexicano donde el tema de la historia es uno muy presente en dicha cultura: la muerte. Y al hablar de la muerte se habla sobre la vida, sobre lo hermosa que es la vida.
Este cortometraje está dedicado "A TODOS LOS MUERTOS DEL MUNDO QUE NO DEBIERON MORIRSE"

Another short, very short story... but very interesting ...
"Roger did not realize he was dead ..." with this sentence begins this moving story of one of the best Latin American writer, Guillermo Arriaga. With a black, fine and relaxed humour Arriaga makes this Mexican short film where the theme of the story is one very present in Mexican culture: death. And to talk about death they talk about life, about how beautiful life is.
This short film is dedicated to "ALL the DEAD people in the  WORLD that SHOULD NOT have DIED"

Lo que tú Quieras Oír (Whatever You Want To Hear) is a Spanish language short drama by Guillermo Zapata added to YouTube on March 26, 2006. The video is notable for being the most-watched non-English video on YouTube, the third most-viewed video excluding music videos, and the twelfth most viewed of all time, with over 100 million viewings. The film was released under a Creative Commons license, meaning that it is reusable and remixable by anyone, if the resulting creation is itself used according to certain criteria As a Spanish video it has received considerably less media and viral attention than other popular English-language YouTube videos. A version with English subtitles has been released, but has proved much less popular. The plot centers around "Sofia", who returns home to find a voicemail from her husband, "Miguel", announcing that he has left her. Sofia is initially depressed, but decides to remix the voice-mail, so that it sounds like Miguel telling her that he loves her and that he is sorry for leaving her and asking for forgiveness. Sofia then tells the remixed-voicemail that she will not take Miguel back.










La leyenda del espanta pájaros

The scarecrow was lonely and wondered why the birds did not like him. Even when he took care of one close to death; it flew away in horror once it knew an evil scarecrow was tending him. Upset he went to the farmer for a different job, but the farmer only screamed in fear and organized a mob to hunt and kill the demonic scarecrow. They trapped the scarecrow and burned him inside a windmill, but the crows had seen it all and the next morning they gathered his ashes and scattered them to the four winds. They had come to find out that the scarecrow was good, not evil, and as a tribute they have worn black ever since.

"Diez minutos", de Alberto Ruiz Rojo.
Con más de 85 premios en festivales nacionales e internacionales, incluido el Goya, es el cortometraje más premiado de la historia del corto en España. "Diez minutos" cuenta la historia de una persona que llama al servicio de atención al cliente de su teléfono móvil para solicitar una información, de ello depende que pueda recuperar a su chica. Pero se encuentra con la inflexibilidad e impersonalidad de la operadora que sistemáticamente se niega a ayudarle. El corto es un toque de atención del modelo de sociedad al que nos dirigimos, donde la frialdad de normas absurdas se impone a la humanidad y el sentido común.
